Animal Care Taster session

We are delighted to invite students from your school who might like to explore careers in the Animal care sector to our post 16 taster session on the 4th or 5th April starting at 1.30 until 3.30 pm.

For qualifications starting in September for L2 in Animal-care
We would like your students to come as a small group or with a friend so they can see for themselves what life is like at ATL.
Students will be allowed to handle the small animals we have here and learn about monitoring health and well being and how know when an animal is happy and relaxed as well as spotting signs of stress. We have Guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, geckos, stick insects, rats, mice and ferrets, toads
Students will spend time with the course tutor in what could be their new classroom, where they will also get to meet our current students and find out what it is like here.
They will receive all the course information they need whilst here and be shown how to apply to secure a place with us in September 2022.
