Animal Care – Taster day Session

We are delighted to invite you to our Animal care post 16 taster session on the 4th or 5th April starting at 1.30 until 3:30pm
Booking is essential
For qualifications starting in September for L2 in Animal Care
Feel free to come long as a small group or with a friend so they can see for themselves what life is like at ATL.
You will be allowed to handle the small animals we have here and learn about monitoring their health and wellbeing. They will also be shown how to know when an animal is happy and relaxed as well as spotting signs of stress. We have guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, geckos, stick insects, rats, mice, ferrets and toads
You will spend time with the course tutor in what could be their new classroom, where they will also get to meet our current students and find out what it is like here.
They will receive all the course information they need whilst here and be shown how to apply to secure a place with us in September 2022.
