Industrial placement
Employers look for evidence of substantial work experience, they are more likely to employ those with experience over those without. Work experience allows students to apply what they have learnt in their studies to real work environments and gain important life skills.
Will I need to wear special clothes?
For classroom sessions your smart casual clothing is acceptable. If you are a Beauty Therapy, Health and Social Care, Animal Care or Childcare student, a uniform is provided. Your work placement may wish you to wear a uniform or special protective clothing, which will be
supplied.
What comes next?
