Composite Integration in Saltash are seeking an apprentice who is keen, self-driven and willing to learn. You will join our procurement and administration team in a role that has genuine growth potential and could be the start of a great career in an exciting industry, working with UK and international manufacturing and engineering household names.

In this role, you will support the company with a wide range of procurement and administrative activities; processing email and telephone correspondence, preparation and production of documentation as required, general office administrative activities, completion of routine H&S checks, support the hospitality of UK and international guests.  This is your starting point, what you will be doing in the future is up to you as this post could easily progress onto higher level training.

We are looking for those young people who could, if they choose to, go to university but instead want to try industry as an alternative.

In this role you will

  • Support the Procurement Manager, and the Customer and Freight Coordinator (Import/export) with day-to-day administration, communication, documentation and email correspondence
  • Prepare invoices and customer & supplier documentation
  • Undertake general filing and office support
  • Deal with UK and international email and telephone enquiries
  • Support customers visits to company site, including room booking and preparation, hospitality as required
  • Company vehicle and travel support for employees and visitors
  • Source office supplies
  • Complete company H&S checks

Flexible working hours means that you will be able to clock in late and clock out early as long as you achieve 40 hours of work a week.

Paid holiday time will be increased incrementally after 1 year, from 5.6 weeks to 6.2 weeks in second year and 6.6 weeks in the third.
