New ICT Suite

We are immensely proud of our brand new ICT suite, and wanted to share the good news!

Achievement Trainings ICT faculty have invested, upgraded and purchased state of the art ICT equipment including Dell PC’s and Servers, Cisco Meraki Networking, Windows 2016 Servers, Microsoft Office 2016, Pro VMware Virtualization tools.

The new facilities and equipment ensure, Achievement Training, who are based in the centre of the city continue to be leaders in Apprenticeship training across the South West. Our students gain real-time, hands-on experience and develop their technical understanding, as they work to complete studies in Infrastructure Technology and higher lever Networking Engineer qualifications at Levels 4 & 5. Learners can then move onto degree level qualifications at Plymouth University whilst continuing to work with their existing employers.

With this new equipment we are able to streamline our operations and create a service that appeals to learners. Achievement Training have been delivering IT qualifications since 2005. This sector has seen steady growth from both learners and employers year on year, with 2017 showing an increase og 20 % more employers compared to 2016.

The course tutor Mike Collings has worked in the IT sector since leaving University in 1997 after gaining B.Sc (Hons’s) in Business Information Management Systems. Mike has worked his way from 1st-line support to Head of IT for multi-national companies and his cohort of Apprentices are able to gain real insight from his tuition due to his industry experience.
