An informal session to find out more about Livewell Southwest, how to ‘get a foot in the door’, the various career opportunities, how to apply and advice on interviews.

Livewell Southwest is proud to be working in partnership with Achievement Training to provide a series of sessions and events. We are calling these ‘community career partnership events’. We welcome and encourage anyone who is actively looking, or considering a career in health and social care to come and meet with one of the largest employers in the area.
Livewell Southwest will be running themed sessions as well as recruitment events once a month and will take place on a Friday. You will have the chance to meet professionals in health and social care, recruiting managers from a range of settings as well as the opportunity to ask questions to get a better understanding of the career you are interested in! These sessions will include speaking with certain age groups, veterans and families of those who are looking to change career and those who are looking to start employment for the first time, as well as others.
Livewell Southwest pride themselves on community engagement and are one of the few major employers that can provide a sustainable and fulfilling career. Over the last 2 years, face to face engagement with a future employer has been greatly reduced, and whilst many employers are now keen to offer more in person events within Plymouth, Livewell Southwest want to go a step further and take responsibility, as the employer of choice, to reach out and remove the faceless online recruiting process that prevents so many people from understanding what organisations do and what the role actually entails.
