“I started my journey with Achievement Training as an Apprentice with the Business Development team. I came to ATL to get some careers advice and the team offered me the chance to attend a trial day.”

Lydia started her Apprenticeship in June 2018 and spent the next year working to gain her Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship qualification. From helping out with paper-based and digital marketing campaigns and tracking enquiries from new learners to networking with local businesses, a major part of her role took Lydia around the city to open days and careers events. Lydia enjoyed talking to school children, job seekers and other potential students about the range of vocational courses available at ATL.
“I could never have succeeded in gaining a Distinction in my Apprenticeship, without the support of my line manager and colleagues helping me to believe in my own abilities. Working alongside some amazing people at ATL has boosted my confidence even more and I really benefited from staying and gaining as much experience as I could after completing my Apprenticeship. I stayed for three years with ATL, which gave me a great foundation to build upon for my future and I cannot thank the amazing team enough for the start they gave me. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store.“
