Administrator - HR & Quality
Exciting opportunity to develop and expand your client and colleague support service knowledge and experience, working directly with the HR & Quality Manager in our Plymouth City Centre office to support our vocational training teams.
Salary: £10.60 to £11.00 per hour, based on experience
Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week
The Job Role:
Delivering consistent, high quality administrative support in a full range of HR tasks for a company providing education and vocational training. Providing assistance in a range of quality improvement projects and advising managers on best practice support for their teams from recruitment onwards, with particular focus on pre-employment checks, positive induction, guidance on absence management and assisting with the supervision of staff training, learning and development.
The Candidate:
- Experienced in an office environment supporting multiple teams in a role including people management administration or similar;
- Qualified to Level 3 in Business Administration or similar with a good level of English and Maths, qualification in HR, Mentoring, Advice & Guidance or similar an advantage;
- Good, consistent IT skills including Word, Excel and Google with a high level of accuracy essential, experience of using databases and web-based systems an advantage but training given;
- Well-developed and consistent communication skills;
- Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise own workload and react appropriately and efficiently to changing needs;
- Confidence to both challenge and support, ensuring that the needs of individual staff are balanced with operational requirements and the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values;
- Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with the wider team to ensure HR & Quality maintain a position as a trusted source of guidance.
