Case Studies February 10, 2025
Jenna began her career in adult care as a dedicated care worker, demonstrating a passion for supporting others and a commitment to professional growth. Recognising the potential to expand her knowledge and skills, Jenna sought opportunities for further development and enrolled in ATL’s Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care which she achieved in 2011. This qualification provided her with the essential skills and knowledge needed to advance in her career.
Completing the Level 3 Diploma proved to be a turning point for Jenna. The tailored support and guidance she received from ATL helped her to build the confidence and expertise required to progress. Jenna went from strength to strength, building new leadership skills and achieving several promotions. With her newfound knowledge and skills, Jenna was able to successfully complete a Nursing Associate programme which she achieved in 2021 and led to her promotion as the Head of Nursing within her workplace—a significant milestone in her career. Jenna’s ambition and dedication to her field motivated her to continue her professional development. She returned to ATL to complete the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and management in 2022. This advanced qualification further enhanced her leadership and management skills, enabling her to take on greater responsibilities.
As a result of her continued learning and hard work, Jenna was promoted to the role of Manager of both the residential and nursing sides of her organisation. Her career progression has been remarkable, and she is now preparing for a CQC Registered Manager interview, which will mark the next significant step in her professional journey.
